Administrative Announcement 

To the Education Community of the Gulf Islands School District,

On behalf of the Board of Education for School District 64 (Gulf Islands), I wish to share the following announcement:

Effective September 2026, Ryan Massey will be leaving his role as principal to engage in a full-time classroom position.

We extend our sincere thanks to Mr. Massey for his six years of service as an administrator at GISS. During his time with the District, Mr. Massey has built strong relationships and shown a deep commitment to supporting students, staff, and families. His steady leadership, care, and dedication have made a meaningful difference in the school community, and his contributions are greatly valued.

We look forward to continuing to work alongside Mr. Massey as he steps into his new role as a teacher leader at Gulf Islands Secondary School and wish him every success in this next chapter of his professional journey.
