Audited Financial Statements and Financial Statement Discussion & Analysis

Pursuant to sections 156 (Accounting Practices) and 157 (Financial Statements) of the School Act and Ministerial Order M177/10, Boards of Education must submit their audited financial statements in the form required by the Minister.

Statement of Financial Information (SOFI)

In accordance with the Financial Information Act, each board of education is required to prepare a Statement of Financial Information (SOFI) for the fiscal year ending June 30th.

As per the Financial Information Act and the Financial Information Regulation, this report must include a schedule of remuneration and expenses that list all trustees, and only those employees with salaries exceeding $75,000, and a schedule of suppliers of goods and services that lists suppliers paid in excess of $25,000.

Pay Transparency 

In effort to help close the gender pay gap, and in compliance with the Pay Transparency Act, the district will publish a Pay Transparency Report, annually by November 1st. This report uses payroll data to highlight differences in compensation between genders across categories such as hourly wages, overtime, and bonuses.
