'Uy' Netulh~ |Good Morning,  

To begin our day in a good way, let us take a moment to show gratitude for the Hul'q'umi'num and SENCOTEN speaking peoples who have called this place home. Acknowledging that the Gulf Islands, on the territory of the Coast Salish People, is the place we have come to call home. Where we get to enjoy all the beautiful things that make up the water and the land. Let us learn from and alongside Indigenous People on how to care for Mother Earth and one another. 

 

Jr. Girls soccer try-outs will take place next Monday at 4:30-6:00. Please see Mr. Langdon if you have any questions.   

 

Senior Girls Soccer Assessments!  

The Senior Girls Soccer season is starting. Our first assessment today from 4:30 to 6pm outside on the upper field. We will have another assessment on Tuesday March 3.

Attention Grads: The 'Grad Hoodie Round Two' vote closes today. If you have not voted already, please check your email at break or lunch and vote for your favorite. Order forms will be out next week!  

 

Student Council Meeting today at lunch in N207. 

 

Rugby Update time: if you would like there to be a travelling rugby team this year, you have to attend a mandatory meeting today at lunch in S208. Be there at 12:40PM with your lunch, as there is plenty to discuss! Mandatory rugby meeting, 12:40PM today in S208.  Coach Clayton, signing off via Heather. 

 

Course Selection Forms: A reminder to all Grade 8-11 students that course selection forms are due today to your A Block Teacher.  

 

The winners of the Gr. 11 PARTY Program raffle are Kieran W. and Silas N. Please come to the office to pick up your prize! 

 

Yesterday was Pink Shirt Day and I’m not sure we brought enough attention to it. Take a stand against bullying and be an advocate for kindness and inclusivity. At the very base of your interactions, be respectful. Genuine care, unguarded kindness, and a little bit of love helps too.
