Thank you all for a wonderful first week!

It was great to see all of the eager (for the most part 😏) faces.

Stay tuned for updates, but until then, here's to zucchini races, pies, farm excitement, and naps. Please let there be naps...

The teachers and staff would like to welcome you to a new year at Fulford Elementary!

A few things of note before the first day of school, which is this coming Tuesday, September 2.

The first day is a half day with early dismissal at 12pm. If you didn't receive the transportation email in regard to the bus schedule, please let us know or follow up with Tania at transportation@sd64.org
Students will go to their previous year's classroom for both Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. Mid-day on Wednesday students will go into their new classes. If you're new to the school, please check in with the office and we will take you up to your class. Kindergarteners will have a gradual entry and should have received a schedule.
Indoor shoes are necessary, and will be left at the school each day. Please make sure to arrive with a clean pair of indoor shoes and a pair of outdoor shoes. If you are unable to purchase or source indoor shoes, feel free to check in with your child's teacher or at the office.
School supplies are covered this year, thanks to a government grant. Classroom teachers will purchase and organize all supplies, so there is no cost to parents and caregivers.

You'll also notice a new signature at the bottom of this email, but don't fret, Rebecca has not left the building! She has taken a temporary leave from admin in order to step into a new role as a full time child and youth care worker, so the students will still be able to see her at school. In the meantime, you'll have to read my ramblings over the next ten months.
