School Newsletter for October 9th

Dear Fernwood Families, 

 

School will be closed this Monday for Thanksgiving. There will be school on Friday next week instead. 

 

Attached is the school newsletter for this week. It includes fun photos of our whole school meeting, the pancake breakfast provided by Salt Spring Fire and Rescue when they were here for Fire Safety Talks and our first fire drill of the year; also Bus Safety Talks, the whole school meeting, field trips, the winning bookmarks from the library contest and of course at this time of year...PUMPKINS! I have to say I am very excited about Hallowe'en coming! 

 

There are many 'dates looking ahead' to note including the deadline of Monday to order the PAC lunch. Instructions provided by the PAC are in the newsletter.
