Aboriginal Student Support Services
School based teams may apply for funding to support Aboriginal students. This support should be over and above regular Learning Assistance/Special Ed funding and is not meant to replace it. Depending on the availability of funds, support can be requested by schools for extra E.A. time, tutoring, etc. In the past, funding has been granted for academic support and social skills support. Other proposals will be considered if they are felt necessary to support student needs as they relate to the Enhancement Agreement.
